Our Services

We formed our asset management division to be a versatile service organization that acts as an extension of the asset management division of leading financial institutions. We treat each client differently and tailor a strategy to fit their unique needs. Whether your equipment leasing/sales division requires repossession, remarketing, appraisal, warehousing or inventory management services, we can provide you experienced help in these areas. We typically work on fee, commission or retainer basis; keeping your recovery costs to a minimum.

As a division of North East Printing Machinery, we can leverage the 40 years experience in buying, selling and handling of machinery and equipment to its best and most efficient use.

We would love the opportunity to show you how our vast array of contacts, mature technology assets and personnel can turn your assets into cash in a professional, hassle free experience.

PRINCIPAL APPRAISER, Joseph Koravos, has almost 40 years of experience in appraising all types of graphic arts equipment. We can provide professionally written appraisal reports, desktop opinions, residual valuations on leased equipment and entire portfolio/inventory reviews. As a candidate member of the American Society of Appraisers, our appraisals are relied on by nearly all of the leading financial institutions. Additionally, we have been qualified as an expert witness in matters relating to graphic arts equipment valuations by the US Federal District Court.

For years, North East Printing Machinery has acted as an agent for many of the leading financial institutions and provided them our services when required to repossess their non-performing and off-lease assets. Whether the repossession is adversarial or amicable, we have the personnel and equipment to ensure that your asset is retrieved and secured in a timely fashion. Often times, in non-performing asset cases, our initial involvement as the repossessing agent prompts the lessee to bring its account current. As always, we keep our clients best interest as heart and will tailor a repossession strategy to fit our clients’ needs and goals.

One strategy that is being utilized more in today’s business world is performing orderly liquidations or auctions to help sell large inventories of machinery and equipment in a short period of time. This may be accomplished by conducting an orderly liquidation, physically on-site or online thru the internet. The same can be accomplished in an auction process thru either on-site or online methods.

We have extensive experience in managing these types of sales for clients and have done so successfully over the last 40 years. We have conducted more liquidations and auctions of graphic arts related companies than any other entity in that time.

One of the strengths of our company is its ability to resell used machinery and equipment both quickly and at the right price. We achieve this by accessing the vast network of companies worldwide that we know to be buyers of this type of equipment through our 40 years of industry experience. We maintain our own database of contacts and utilize email blasts as well as our interactive website, trade ads and telephone marketing to reach prospective buyers.

For many types of machinery, the overseas market is an excellent place to find buyers for older and obsolete equipment. We maintain good relationships with many of these buyers. They have come to rely on us for their purchasing needs due to our long history in the business as well as our reputation for ethical dealings.
