North East Printing Machinery was incorporated in 1982 to engage in the business of buying, selling, liquidating, and servicing graphic arts equipment as well as to consult and appraise in this field. The president of the company is Joseph L. Koravos who has nineteen years of experience exclusively in the graphic arts machinery field. North East Printing Machinery maintains an office and showroom in Pelham, New Hampshire.
NEPM is in daily contact with buyers and sellers of printing equipment and this has uniquely qualified us to do expert appraisals, plant liquidations and consulting to many of the top printing companies and financial institutions. We have also become experts in determining values on this type of equipment since we have first hand knowledge of not only our own sales but also documented sales of other printing machinery sales around the country. We also have extensive experience in dealing with in-house print shops. We can offer our customers complete turnkey installations of the equipment we sell or we may sell pieces on just an "As Is, Where Is" basis depending on how the deal is structured. We work with most of the major leasing companies in the country in helping them remarket their off-lease equipment whether it be by direct purchase, consignment or commission sale.
NEPM can sell its equipment by reaching many different markets. We maintain and utilize our own database of active printing equipment buyers which we use to send out a quarterly mailing list as well as special direct mail promotions on certain pieces. We also do heavy advertising in all of the major trade journals in this country and internationally. In addition, we've developed a large network of people knowledgeable in the trade throughout the world that help us find customers. NEPM has also developed a niche in export sales of equipment to Central and South America, Mexico, and beyond. Additionally, we are adept at importing late model equipment from Europe, Asia, etc., to fill needs here in the U.S.
Our 20,000 square foot New Hampshire showroom is equipped to handle all aspects of the moving, servicing, demonstrating and shipping of our inventory of graphic arts equipment. In addition, we have added a Alpheus CO2 cleaning machine to our customized cleaning/blasting room. This process of cleaning equipment by blasting them with CO2 ice shavings is the most advanced environmentally friendly method available.
Remember, we specialize only in the graphic arts field and moreover our expertise is not limited to any one segment in this field. But, unlike some firms that may only deal in webs or pre-press equipment, we have extensive expertise in sheet fed, web, bindery, and pre-press equipment as well as a unique understanding of many types of specialty printing and binding processes.
